FOWK - Fears For The Ears
I collaborated with several voice actors, writers and musicians to create a series of short stories for Halloween. For this project, I composed an ambient piece of music which served as the introduction to the series, and as an interlude between stories. This ambient composition took influence from the eerie soundscapes of Silent Hill, utilising Akira Yamaoka’s method of resampling chord progressions to create ominous textures. This piece also incorporates elements of 80’s horror, using detuned pads akin to John Carpenter.
